Distorting Photography
I really enjoy using photography to create these surrealist environments and scenes. By editing the images using unrealistic colouring and extreme contrasting techniques, the subsequent imagery I find to become dramatic and befitting of surrealism photography. This is something I am just currently beginning to explore, however when I improve with digital editing software hopefully this could be taken further and used within my studio practice.
The below photographs show the before and after relationships between photographs. The building images were taken at the Barbican in London, and had a focus on geometric structure.
